We are looking for a Business/Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Life Science team, based in Louvain-la-Neuve, Brussels Area, Belgium. As a business/QA Analyst, you will be working on different aspects related to our software, such as the testing, documentation and management of feedbacks from our many users.
Our Life Science team is guiding the evolution of our N-SIDE Suite for Clinical Trials software product from a Business Perspective. This global optimization/change management platform helps pharmaceutical companies improving their R&D efficiency, reducing drug & distribution waste within clinical trials while always guaranteeing that all patients will receive their treatment on time. By doing so, we play an active role in the discovery of new innovative treatments for patients.
What you’ll do
Depending on your profile, you’ll work on one or several of the following transversal topics within the product team:
QA / Testing
The stability of our platform is an important aspect of our value proposition. As a tester, you’ll create scenarios and associated test data that are representative of the usage of the tool, as well as contain special cases that might be encountered by the clients. Your responsibility will be to structure and document those testing efforts such as to bring our internal User Acceptance Tests to an even better quality level than the current state. You’ll also provide business support to the development team automatising such testing scenarios.
The documentation we have for our platform participates to its success, as it allows the users to easily extract the most value out of our tool. The documentation of our N-SIDE Suite comprises many aspects. We have for instance training sessions on general or dedicated aspects that are given to our clients, a technical user guide, How Tos and FAQs sections. Your responsibility will be to create content for the different documentation aspects, as well as to improve the existing ones.
User Feedback management
We maintain a close relationship with our clients, and integrate the feedbacks they have in our development roadmap. This is also part of our value proposition: having a software product that is evolving with its clients. Your responsibilities will be to collect the feedbacks our clients enter directly in the platform, to conduct interviews with clients to gather feedbacks, to structure them, extract the business needs from them. Then, you will participate to the design of solutions to those needs and validate the solutions with the clients to ensure it solves the needs, before following-up on the inclusion of the solutions in our product.
Understanding the clinical trials business
Each of the responsibilities you will have within the team will require you to acquire and maintain a good understanding of the business of our clients and of the challenges they face. You will learn to use our product to provide operational and strategic added value to our clients and learn how they work. Therefore, you must be motivated to become knowledgeable in clinical research and the associated challenges. Your job will, as stated earlier, include direct client contact, including contact on client premises.
- IT or Engineering background (business, mathematical, etc);
- Prior experience in software product testing / QA, software product design or support is an asset;
- Prior experience in Clinical Trial Supplies and/or Supply Chain is an asset;
- You have a technical background and an interest in mathematical modeling and analytics;
- You are business and customer-oriented with strong communication skills;
- You are analytical and like solving complex problems;
- Ability to work in autonomy while being part of a team;
- You are proactive, solution-minded and eager to learn;
- You are a team player with a creative mind;
- Fluent in English.
