Back from the SmartNet Public workshop organised on June 20, Guillaume Leclercq, Project Manager of the H2020 SmartNet project at N-SIDE, is sharing with us the slides of his presentation about “ real time market architecture issues” and his main conclusions.

In the framework of an activation market of flexibility services (balancing, congestion management) for both TSO and DSOs,

Check the main market design ingredients (timing, network, products, clearing objective, pricing)
Check how they are applied to the different TSO-DSO coordination schemes
Have a grasp of the computational complexity for the different market designs ingredients and for each TSO-DSO coordination scheme.
Many questions from the audience, about nodal/zonal pricing, market approaches, … showing the interest for the different schemes proposed
