BioWin, the health cluster of Wallonia, is hosting an event today in Louvain-la-Neuve: “Tasting around artificial intelligence in healthcare and life sciences”.  Experts from both academia and industry will present on such topics as artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning and data mining as applied to healthcare and life sciences.

Sébastien Coppe, Head of the Consulting Group at N-SIDE, will present how machine learning techniques can be applied to clinical study data by presenting a case study focused on an oncology trial with uncertain treatment duration. Further discussion will show how outcomes from machine learning can inform supply decisions including risk mitigation planning.
