Meet us at the ORBEL Annual meeting !
Damien Denayer, Software engineer, & Keno Merckx, Energy consultant are joining the ORBEL Annual meeting (ORBEL 34) on Jan 30-31. 2020 in Lille. ORBEL 34 is the 34th conference of ORBEL, the Belgian Operational Research (OR) Society, Member of EURO, the association of European OR Societies, and Belgian representative of IFORS (International Federation of OR Societies).The conference is intended as a meeting place for researchers, users and potential users of Operational Research, Statistics, Computer Science and related fields.
On the second day, Damien and Keno will present a use case on Local Energy Market in the UK. They will demonstrate how to operate such a local market thanks to market clearing algorithms. They will provide technical explanations about the key ingredients of the algorithms.
