Severstal is one of the world’s leading vertically integrated steel and steel related mining companies. Severstal Russian Steel is focusing on high value-added flat steel products. Its steel production volume is of 15.69 million tons.
Severstal has started the implementation of SCOOP and it includes the whole process from reduction area until casted steel (both BOF shop and EAF shop are included). On top of this, a customized model for the scraps yard has been added to their version of SCOOP to consider the optimization of the scraps internal processing & purchasing.

SCOOP implementation has started September 2014. The scope is considering the whole integrated plant including the downstream.
