Storage Orders in Euphemia: Bringing Intertemporal Flexibility into Day-Ahead Markets
In this one-hour seminar, N-SIDE will explore the concept of storage-native orders in Euphemia and examine how storage could participate more effectively in day-ahead market clearing.
We will review the capabilities and limitations of existing order types, including block, linked, flexible, and spread-based orders, and discuss how parameters such as state of charge, efficiency, power limits, cycling costs, and end-of-day energy value could be incorporated into market design.
