The year 2025 marks a historic milestone for N-SIDE. As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we reflect on a quarter-century of transforming complex data into decisive action. This year was not merely a celebration of the past, but a definitive leap into the future, characterized by an overall growth of 15% and the expansion of our footprint across the global Life Sciences and Energy landscapes.

Life Sciences: driving the future of clinical supply chains

The Life Sciences business unit has achieved tremendous momentum in 2025, solidifying its role as the industry leader for clinical supply chain optimization and forecasting.

Strategic market leadership

N-SIDE’s influence in the pharmaceutical sector has reached a new peak. We are proud to report that 70% of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies now trust our solutions. This trust is built on a foundation of proven results and a relentless focus on clinical trial supply resilience.

Our community is growing faster than ever:

• 13 new customers joined us this year.
• We successfully onboarded over 400 new users onto our solutions, ensuring that data-driven decision-making is accessible to teams worldwide.
• The impact of our optimization and forecasting solutions has expanded significantly, with a +33% YoY increase in the number of clinical trial studies covered.

Pioneer in sustainability

Through our innovative CO2 feature, we have empowered our customers to visualize the environmental impact of their supply chain decisions.

• Currently, 13 of our customers are already actively monitoring the carbon footprint of their clinical trial decisions.

• This feature allows partners to balance cost, risk, and environmental impact, paving the way for a more sustainable life sciences ecosystem.

Energy: Enabling the Global Transition

As the world navigates the complexities of decarbonization and grid modernization, N-SIDE Energy has emerged as a critical architect of the new energy landscape. In 2025, our Energy solutions and services were active in 30 countries, providing the mathematical backbone for more resilient and efficient power markets.

Pioneering market innovation

Our experts played a pivotal role in implementing the “70% rule” in the Day Ahead Capacity Calculation Process through our work with SEleNe-CC. This initiative is vital for maximizing cross-border trade and ensuring the efficient use of existing grid infrastructure.

N-SIDE remains a primary contributor to EUPHEMIA, the algorithm used for the Single Day-Ahead Coupling (SDAC) most of Europe is now part of. Our team led the technical integration of 15-minute MTUs, allowing for finer granularity in power trading and better integration of volatile renewable energy sources.

In collaboration with partners, we also successfully launched the Baltic Balancing Capacity Market. This project is a critical component of the Baltic states’ synchronization with the Continental Europe Synchronous Area, enhancing regional energy security and independence.

Knowledge leadership and empowerment

We believe that advanced tools are most effective when paired with deep expertise. Beyond software, N-SIDE continues to act as a thought partner for the industry and our Power Market Optimization Masterclass equipped dozens of industry professionals with the tools needed to navigate increasingly complex regulatory and technical landscapes.
